                              RESOLUTION NO. 21846
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
                 AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE AGREEMENT WITH ARCADIS,
                 GERAGHTY & MILLER, RELATIVE TO CONTRACT NO.
                 28I, BUILDING EXPANSION AT MOCCASIN BEND
                 WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, WHICH AMENDMENT
                 INCREASES THE CONTRACT BY AN AMOUNT NOT TO
                 EXCEED SEVENTY-FOUR THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED
                 SEVENTY DOLLARS ($74,370.00) FOR A TOTAL
                 REVISED AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED
                 THIRTY-FOUR THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY
                 DOLLARS ($234,370.00).
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with ARCADIS
       Geraghty & Miller, relative to Contract No. 28I, Building
       Expansion at Moccasin Bend Wastewater Treatment Plant, which
       Amendment increases the contract by an amount not to exceed
       $74,370.00 for a total revised amount not to exceed $234,370.00.
